Join other Bennie and Johnnie alums during Benedictine Day of Service supporting the Cathedral of Saint Matthew the Apostle Social Justice Ministry - Adopt-A-Family Program. The Adopt-a-Family program provides gifts and material assistance to low-income families in our community for Easter, Back-to-School, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Schedule of Events
12:15 p.m. - Attend Daily Mass at the Cathedral for reflection time (optional)
12:45-1 p.m. - Gift card/item collection after daily mass with Cathedral representative
1-2:30 p.m. - Alum walk over to the Admiral for social hour (optional)

The Cathedral is suggesting the following items as donations:

1. $25, $50, $100 or more Grocery Gift cards (can be designated for food-only purchases) at:
   • - Safeway
   • - Giant
   • - Target
   • - Walmart
   • - Other local food stores
2. Monetary gifts to be designated toward helping local community members pay for their utility bills
3. Clothing (Mens size M-L)
4. Paper Supplies (Paper plates)
