CSB+SJU President’s Reception

Time: 6 – 9 p.m. 

Location: New Providence Terrace - Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center

Parking: Free Parking at the Convention Center Lot (Valet parking available at the guest’s expense.)

From the Convention Center Customer Parking Lot:

• Walk to the front entrance of the Convention Center. Take a right and walk all the way down to the New Providence Ballroom. The doors will be open to the Terrace which is opposite the New Providence Ballroom. Directional signs will be placed to further direct guests.

From the Hotel/Valet Parking:

• The New Providence Terrace is connected to the Convention Center. Guests are to travel west through the casino, where they will pass Café Madeleine on the right, go down the escalator.  Directional signs will be placed to further direct guests.

This year’s event promises to be an evening to remember as we honor two of our beloved and esteemed nation builders who passed away in recent months. Telzena Coakley ’62 will receive a special, posthumous, CSB citation detailing the long history of accolades and awards received throughout her extraordinary service to the College of Saint Benedict and Bahamian Bennies. Philip Galanis ’75 will receive, posthumously, Saint John’s University’s most prestigious alumnus award, the Fr. Walter Reger Distinguished Alumnus Award. In addition, President Bruess will share a brief update from campus and welcome special guests.


We look forward to extending the very best of our Bahamian hospitality to President Brian Bruess and his wife Carol, and celebrating the CSB and SJU legacy here in The Bahamas.
