The Science of Happy Marriage: A Workshop for Couples
Lead by Carol J. Bruess, PhD
Event co-hosted by: Lumen Christi Catholic Community, Highland Catholic School and the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University
Marriage is hard work, but intentionally creating a flourishing marriage is the very most important work we do. According to the best relationship science, the daily micro-moments of turning toward our spouses are among the most significant gifts we can give not only each other, but also our children and grandchildren— the people for whom we are modeling how to create and sustain flourishing relationships. In this workshop, relationship social scientist Dr. Carol Bruess will share not only the science of happy marriage but give you and your partner evidence-based tools for creating more joy in your marriage. Come ready to take notes and receive some simple, easy-to-implement marriage boosting homework.
