CSB and SJU alums and friends in the D.C. area are invited to a special dedication and blessing of the Apostles Edition of The Saint John’s Bible on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the 4 p.m. Choral Evensong at the Washington National Cathedral. This rare set – one of only 12 – is being gifted to the National Cathedral thanks to the generosity of The Catharine Elizabeth Laney Trust. The seven-volume work of Scripture and sacred art will become part of the National Cathedral’s permanent collection of sacred art and literature, and will be prominently displayed during the Evensong service.

Time: Choral Evensong - 4:00 p.m.; post-Evensong social - 5:15 - 7:30 p.m.
Location: Washington National Cathedral (3101 Wisconsin Avenue NW) & Cactus Cantina (3300 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Washington, D.C.)
Parking: There is an underground parking garage that can be entered via Wisconsin Avenue at the traffic signal just south of Woodley Road.

** We are looking for up to six volunteers to serve as greeters at the Cathedral, arriving by 3:15 p.m. When you register, please indicate if you are interested in performing this role. Training will be provided when you arrive.
