Title IX became the law of the land in 1972, exponentially expanding possibilities for young girls and women across the United States.

The world of education was changed forever. The world of athletics was changed forever.

And because of this landmark legislation, the College of Saint Benedict was changed forever.

In the 50 years since that day, student-athletes have gained opportunities to proudly represent Saint Ben’s in competition, to chase their dreams, accomplish their goals and become champions.

To celebrate this history, the Saint Ben's athletic department will be honoring 50 of our greatest and most influential student-athletes at an event on Saturday, October 22 as part of Family Weekend. We’re proud to host this event in celebration of Title IX and pay special tribute to our collective Blazer and Bennie history.
